Changes to Age and Weight Requirements

Parents,
There has been a change in the Age and Weight requirements for Football and Cheer. This change is a league change and affects all teams in the AYFCL. The most significant change is that for the first time ever 7 year olds are eligible to play C-Level football and Cheer.

The PYFC Board of Directors met last week to vote in new directors. Beginning Jan. 1, 2012, the following people will be donating a great deal of their time over the next several years to help keep the organization thriving. On October 30, PYFC's Black C team bested the Fairport Red Raiders to take home the American Youth Football and Cheerleading League B/C Conference Championship!
The boys played their signature style of no-nonsense, smart, hard nose football on that last Sunday in October. As it was on August 1, it was all business - from the moment they all stepped onto the bus at Harris Whalen Park, until the final

This weekend is a very important one for our cheerleaders and football players.
First, our girls will be competing in the annual AYFCL Cheer Competition on Saturday @ RIT starting at 3PM.

Doors open at 3pm and competition starts at 4pm.
Cost is $6 and children 5 and under are FREE.

PYFC Football families: Due to extremely poor field conditions at Harris Whalen Park, we are cancelling tonight's practice and changing the times and locations for the remainder of the week. This week's remaining schedule is as follows:

Black squads are playing the Victor Gold Squad at Home. Games are 11:30 (C-Level) and 1:30 (B-Level)*.
The Red Squads is at on the road against the Wayne Eagles White. Games are at 11:30 (C-Level), 1:30 (A-Level)*, and 3:30 (B-Level). Wayne's fields are located at 6551 Knickerbocker Road, Ontario, NY 14580
